A nine-year-old was raped, killed and her body dumped near her home in Namberu North, Uganda, accordig to reports.
“The suspect identified himself as a charcoal supplier after knowing that the deceased mother owns a charcoal kiosk,” reports said.
He later approached the victim and asked her to follow him pick up her mother’s ordered items.
The girl didn’t return home until the next day, when neighbors came across her body in a trench.
“Security needs to be beefed up in the slump area, especially at night because it has become risky for children,” reports said.
