The Ondo State Police Command has arrested two suspects for stoning a 35-year-old man to death in the Ijoka Area of Akure in Nigeria, reports said.
The deceased was killed by an angry mob for alleged reckless driving leading to a road crash.
The accident resulted in the death of two persons and injured six others.
“The Irate mob had beaten and stoned the deceased to death and set his car ablaze,” reports said.
“Police detectives had arrested two suspects over their allegedly jungle justice meted out on the deceased,” the state police command spokesperson, SP Olufunmilayo Odunlami said.
