Two churchgoers have died after drowning in a river where they went to swim in Lagos, Nigeria, according to reports.
“Some boys numbering about seven who came from Lagos for his church inauguration, left the church premises to swim, and got drowned in the process,” a member of the church said.
“The two persons were confirmed dead at the Ifo General Hospital where they were rushed to,” according to the Ogun State Police Public Relations Officer, Omolola Odutola.
“There were no marks of violence and no foul play suspected when the police visited the scene,” reports said.
