A 70-year-old man has been found dead in a gutter at Kasoa-Opeikuma Junction in the Awutu Senya East Municipality of the Central Region, Ghana.
According to reports, “the deceased was not a resident in the area and was earlier seen roaming the street.”
“The deceased claimed to be looking for someone in the area,” residents said.
Due to his age, he caused huge traffic on Sunday night while trying to cross the Opeikuma road.
“A good Samaritan helped him cross the road,” reports said.
“The man was later found sitting in a gutter, half-naked and dead,” residents stated.
The Police arrived at the scene to convey the body to the Winneba Special and Trauma Hospital Mortuary for autopsy and preservation.
Meanwhile, Police and the residents are searching for the family of the deceased.
