A 40 years old woman was arrested for biting a fellow lady and injuring her in the process at Ekute area of Ado Ekiti, the state capital, Nigeria, reports said.
The defendant was dragged to court on a count charge of assault.
“The defendant assaulted a woman by biting her with teeth on her left eye while fighting, which inflicted serious injury on her,” reports said.
The Chief Magistrate, Mr A.O Adeosun, granted the defendant bail in the sum of N100,000 with one surety in like sum.
The defendant, however, pleaded not guilty to the charge preferred against her.
