The Lagos State Police Command has arraigned a 54-year-old woma, a cleaner for stealing an HP laptop valued at N633,700 at the Yaba College of Technology in Nigeria.
“The laptop, belonging to one of her bosses has been declared missing after she cleaned his office and left,” reports said.
“The complainant gave the defendant the key to his office and asked her to clean the office and return the key, but she stole the laptop after cleaning the office,” the prosecutor, Chekwube Oke
The defendant, however, pleaded not guilty to the offense.
The magistrate granted the defendant bail in the sum of N500, 000.
