Kenya: a DJ lost his life for a song not played

A 27-year-old disc jockey (DJ) was killed in Kenya for not playing a song requested by some individual, according to reports.

Party goers took the life of Salim Moriasi aka DJ Goodie during a scuffle that broke out over the playing of a song, according to initial investigation.

The people had requested a song, which the DJ did not play, leading to his death

“The DJ suffered injuries on various parts of his body after being assaulted,” according to the family spokesman

The Criminal Investigation Department is conducting a thorough investigation into his murder.
