Zimbabwean police are investigating the murder of a mine manager and the theft of 20 tonnes of gold, the government newspaper Herald reports.
The newspaper also reports that explosives were allegedly stolen from the mine in the Saruwe region in Mashonaland West.

Mine disagreements are common in Zimbabwe.
