Ugandan opponent Bobi Wine still under house arrest

After the presidential elections whose results he contested, ,the main challenger of Yoweri Museveni, Bobi Wine is still stranded at home. His lawyers ask the High Court of Justice of Kampala his liberation.

The lawyers of Bobi Wine demand that he be summoned and tried in order to verify the reasons of his surveillance and pronounce his final release or on bail.

Indeed, Bobi wine is not officially subject of a house arrest. The aim of his laywers is to oblige the authorities to explain the reasons of this surveillance.
