The Nigerian singer David Adeleke, alias Davido, has seen his notoriety grow over the years in the African and international musical space.
In 2020, his album, A Better Time, which featured top American artists including Nicki Minaj and Lil Baby was a real success.
Davido won many awards in the same year, namely the “Digital Artist of the Year” from Soundcity and the “Rest Of Africa Album” award from Sama. He was also nominated in three categories of the African Muzik Magazine Awards 2020.

He was also nominated for “The Best African Act” at the Music of Black Origin Awards and for “Artist of the Year” at the MTV Africa Music Awards. He landed seven nominations for the 14th Headies Awards.
