According to police reports, “the suspects hired the deceased to transport them from Agona Kwanyarko to Agona Okoto-Kwaa.”

Upon reaching a section of the road, they allegedly asked the rider to stop, pulled out a knife, and demanded the motorbike key.

The victim, however, resisted, and in the struggle, he was stabbed in the eye, rendering him unconscious.

He was rushed to the Agona Swedru Government Hospital but was pronounced dead on arrival.

On Wednesday evening, angry Okada riders stormed the Agona Swedru Divisional Police Command, demanding the release of the suspects to lynch them.
