Man found dead by roadside in Ahwiaa

A 25-year-old man was found dead in mysterious circumstances in Ahwiaa, a suburb of the Kwabre East municipality in Ghana’s Ashanti region.

The deceased, who lived with his grandmother in Mamponteng, had left home to go shopping at the market.

“One of my siblings in Accra called to ask if I had heard that my son had been killed,” according to the deceased mother.

The deceased mother determined to continue her search, while traveling in a tricycle, the rider mentioned that a body had been found nearby. Trusting her instincts, she visited the site and was heartbroken to identify the body as her son’s.

The discovery has left the community in shock, with residents calling for a swift and thorough investigation into the circumstances of his death.
