A suspected human trafficker has been arrested after trafficking five children in Katari, Kachia Local Government Area, Nigeria.
“The arrest followed a complaint lodged by a woman of Katari who resides in the area,” the command’s Public Relations Officer, ASP Mansir Hassan, confirmed.
Operatives of attached to the Kaduna State Police Command have arrested the suspect as he kidnapped five children.
The suspect abandoned the children there and returned to Katari and out of the five children trafficked to Kwara State, three had returned while efforts to trace the remaining two were on.
The suspect was subsequently arrested and the investigation is continuing to find the other children.
