Teacher crushed to death in Osun

A driver crushed a teacher to death as he drove from Ibadan to Osogbo, the capital of Osun State, Nigeria.

“After the accident the driver of the car fled the scene, as angry residents razed down the car he drove,” according to reports.

“The deceased had gone to the market to buy cassava peels,” according to he spokesperson for the Osun State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, Kehinde Adeleke.

“A car suddenly ran into the market and hit the teacher, killing him on the spot, which led to violent reactions from the resident,” he added.

People in the vicinity set the car ablaze immediately they confirmed the passing away of the victim.
