An 82-year-old missionary was found lying dead on the ground in his room with two blood-stained machetes and a knife next to him in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
Father Léopold Feyen is a member of the Salesian congregation of Don Bosco in the African vice-province of Congo-Congo (ACC).
No mention of murder, but a video used by our colleagues at La Croix Africa suggests assassination, reports stated.
The video shows “the priest’s body lying on the ground, with what could be the instruments of death next to him: two machetes and a knife stained with blood”.
The police have launched an investigation to shed light on this macabre discovery.
