The world welcomes agreement between Israel and Hamas

After the formalization of an agreement between Israel and Hamas for the release of 50 people taken hostage on October 7 in exchange for 150 political prisoners, international reactions are pouring in.

Many diplomatic voices have expressed their satisfaction with the success of the negotiations, carried out under the mediation of Qatar and Egypt.

The United States, the European Union, Russia, China welcome the ceasefire and are working to ensure that all hostages are released.

“The Palestinian Authority reaffirms the call for a complete cessation of Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people and the entry of humanitarian aid and pays tribute to Qatari and Egyptian mediation,” the senior official said on the social network X (formerly Twitter).
