The body of a seven-year-old girl was found in a well after she went misssing in the Shasha area of Akure, the state capital, Nigeria.
“The girl was missing before her body was discovered in the well, days after she was not seen around,” reports said.
A friend of the mother of the deceased said, a neighbour was suspected to have been involved in the unfortunate incident.
Her body was still fresh when it was discovered.
The police have taken the corpse to the mortuary and promised to conduct an autopsy.
