A 34-year-old man drowned on Elegushi beach during a religious gathering in Lagos State, Nigeria, according to reports.
“The church had organised a picnic for its youths which the deceased was a part of,” reports said.
“Concerns grew when the members were about to leave the beach but couldn’t locate him anywhere,” reports added.
His body was later recovered by lifeguards at the beach.
The family of the victim has been contacted and the body of the victim has also been deposited at the Yaba General Hospital for an autopsy.
