An Adentan Circuit Court has sentenced a 31-year-old man to 20 years imprisonment with hard labour for defiling a one-year, seven-month-old baby in Ghana.
“The victim went to play in the convict’s room and on her return, her diaper was soaked with blood,” reports said.
The victim’s mother went to the police and lodged a complaint.
The suspect was found guilty on the charge of defilement at the end of the trial by the court.
The court in sentencing the suspect said it considered the gruesomeness of the act.
