Nigeria: a boy arrested for burying his brother alive

A boy is currently in the custody of the Kogi State Police Command for allegedly burying his younger brother alive in the Adavi Local Government Area of the state, Nigeria.

“The suspect carried out the directive of his mother who allegedly asked him to punish his brother for stealing N10,000,” according to him.

“The suspect decided to bury his brother alive so that he would not run away as he always does after stealing,” he stated.

“Some neighbours noticed the strange development and came to rescue the victim,” according to reports.

The state Police Public Relations Officer, SP William Aya, confirmed the arrest of the suspect.
