French minister affirms that Morocco is able to face the earthquake alone

The French Interior Minister declared on France 2 that Morocco, faced with a deadly earthquake, is capable of facing the difficulties alone.

Guest of France 2 this Monday morning, the interior Minister reaffirmed the position of the executive on the earthquake which struck this Maghreb country in the night from Friday to Saturday and which left at least 2,100 dead.

“Morocco is capable of responding to these difficulties on its own,” believes Gérald Darmanin, adding that it is a large country which has great civil protection.

“And if it thinks – and this is quite normal – that international aid can be there, France will be there”, he adds.

“Morocco and France are two brotherly countries”, assures Gérald Darmanin.
