Man shot dead after church in Edo State

Gunmen have shot dead a middle-aged man after church service in Amagba, Edo State, Nigeria, according to reports.

“The incident has left the community in shock,” reports said.

Residents in the community have continued to raise concerns about the safety of worshippers in places of religious gathering.

Residents are calling for a thorough investigation in order to bring the culprits to justice.

“The deceased was shot dead after leaving the church on Sunday. This caused panic in the community and we are calling on the authorities, ” a resident said.
