The United States is officially the country that has paid the highest price for the pandemic, with more than a million deaths.

“Since January 2021, that is to say since the inauguration of President Joe Biden, deaths due to Covid-19 have fallen by 95% and hospitalizations by almost 91%”, explains the American executive in a press release.

It adds that by the time 270 million Americans have received at least one dose of the Covid-19 vaccine, “we are no longer in the same phase of pandemic response as when these obligations were put in place. in place.”

The measures taken to contain the Covid-19 pandemic and in particular the vaccination obligation have given rise to fierce political debates in the United States.
