A man committed suicide after a battle with cancer

A 55-year-old man committed suicide after a long battle with stomach cancer in Kiambu County, Kenya, according to reports.

“The man left his bedroom to answer to a call but took too long to return to the bedroom,” according to the police.

“The wife looked for him in the compound only to find his body hanging on the rafters,” the police added.

“Having stage four stomach cancer, he often said he was in so much pain and painkillers had become ineffective.”

The family will do a post-mortem to establish the cause of his death.
