Ghana: pastor admits role in student nurse’s murder

Ghanaian police arrested a pastor who said he helped a local chief kidnap, murder and bury a nursing student in the center of the country.

Georgina Asor Botchwey, 22, went missing over a week ago after she went for an interview at Cape Coast.

Her body was later exhumed by police at the home of local chief Nana Clarke in Mankessim, where they were led by the pastor.

The victim’s bag, shoes, and other possessions were also found at the address, local media reported.

Police launched a manhunt to find Mr Clarke who is still at large.
