Kenya’s presidential candidate, Raila Odinga, is in Uganda to meet President Yoweri Museveni to discuss issues concerning the two neighboring countries.
Mr Odinga, considered one of the favorites in the August 9 presidential election, paid a courtesy visit to President Museveni.
In a tweet about the meeting, he said: ”We walked down memory lane to discuss the shared history of our countries aimed at forging stronger ties moving into the future”.
Two days ago, he was in South Sudan where he met President Salva Kiir.
He commissioned the 3.6km Freedom Bridge that is expected to ease the transportation of goods across the River Nile.
