COVID-19: Donald Trump in favor of vaccines but against their imposition

Former US President Donald Trump in an interview with national Radio NPR said he was in favor of vaccination against covid-19 but against all forms of its imposition.

Mr Trump on Wednesday said he is opposed to any obligation to have a vaccine against Covid-19, while recommending to be vaccinated.

“I recommend taking vaccines, but I think it must be an individual choice,” the former Republican president said.

Donald Trump strongly criticized the idea of compulsory vaccination, an option defended by the administration of his successor Joe Biden.

“The (vaccine) obligations are really hurting our country, it strongly penalizes our economy,” he added.
