Health officials in Mozambique have announced that the country is seeing a sharp increase in coronavirus-related cases after months when figures were either declining or stabilized.
Authorities said over 1,000 cases have been recorded since Friday.
The country’s health ministry has launched a program of mobile vaccination units to try to cover as many people as possible.

The southern African country has recorded a total of 154,000 cases of covid-19 so far, including 1944 deaths.
