Algerian authorities have announced that the country would start producing Sinovac, China’s anti-covid vaccine for its own use and export to other African countries on Wednesday.
The production will be done in partnership with China and state pharmaceutical products company Saidal.
The country plans to produce one million doses in October, two million in November and three million in December.

Algeria also intends to start producing the Russian covid-vaccine Sputnik V by the end of this year.
