The period for submitting candidatures for the legislative elections in Côte d’Ivoire runs from January 4 to 20. This electoral meeting will take place next March.
From the January 4, the two branches of the Ivorian Popular Front (FPI-Gor and FPI-Légal) which had been opposed since the departure of ex-president Laurent Gbagbo, came together. On the opposition side, the willingness of participation has clearly been signaled.
Assoa Adou and Pascal Affi N’Guessan, respectively general secretary of FPI-Gor and president of FPI-legal, met this Sunday.
As a reminder, each candidate in the legislative election must have more than 25 years and must file a deposit of 100,000F CFA.
