Ivory Coast: Pascal Affi N’guessan appears before the judge

Pascal Affi N’guessan is at the courthouse. This Wednesday, 30^th December, the leader of the opposition is placed under arrest warrant. after his arrest on 06^th December 2020, he will be before the examining magistrate this 30^th December.

The opposition’s leader pascal Affi N’guessan, the President of the political party Ivorian Popular Party appears for the second time before the judge of the 9^th cabinet of the special cell of the court of first instance of Abidjan.

He is accused of more than thirty charges including infringement of the authority of the state. Affi, candidate for presidential of 31th October 2020, finally refuses to participate in the poll, the same as the former president Henri Konan Bedie, president of Democratic Party of ivory Coast, believing that the conditions were not met for a credible election while calling for civil disobedience.

Arrests put an end to the outbreak of the national transitional council that they had set up on 3^rd November 2020.
