The Ghana Police Service has detained and interdicted a policewoman following allegations of assault on a female colleague in Ghana.
According to Police report, “the policewoman poured hot water on the victim after a dispute between them.”
In a statement, the Service confirmed that the suspect is in police custody and will face both internal disciplinary action and legal proceedings.
The victim, who sustained injuries to her face and back, is in stable condition and is receiving ongoing medical treatment and support, reports added.
