The 3 most influential African countries on the world stage

According to the Brand Finance ranking, only three countries on the African continent feature in the Top 50 most influential states in the world.

The British firm specializing in brand evaluation conducts field surveys and expert interviews, based on a sample of over 170,000 individuals from more than 101 markets worldwide.

These surveys and polls are structured around several fundamental factors: influence and reputation, business and trade, international relations, science and education, culture and traditions, media and communication, people and values, governance and sustainable future.

The closer a country is to 100, the greater its influence.

In Africa, Egypt leads the way as the continent’s most influential country, with a score of 45.4 out of 100, ranking it 38th in the world, followed by South Africa with a score of 44.9, ranking it 41st in the world, and finally Morocco, with a score of 40.6 out of 100, rounds off the Top 3 African countries that are making their mark on the global sphere.
