The British firm Henley & Partners has confirmed the power of the Togolese passport, ranking it as the second most advantageous travel document within the UEMOA zone.
This ranking is based on the number of destinations accessible without a visa. In this respect, Togolese travellers can visit 61 destinations without prior formalities, up two places on 2024.
Within the West African Economic and Monetary Union (UEMOA), only Benin is ahead of Togo.
The Seychelles maintains its status as the most powerful passport in Africa, ranking 25th worldwide and offering visa-free access to 156 destinations.
