Since his return to the White House, US President Donald Trump has been multiplying his executive orders, having just signed a new one excluding transgender athletes from women’s sports.
According to the text, schools that allow transgender students to be members of women’s sports teams will no longer have access to federal grants.
“From now on, women’s sports will be reserved for women,” said the Republican billionaire as he signed the decree at a White House ceremony attended by dozens of female athletes.
“In Los Angeles in 2028, my administration will not stand idly by and watch men beat women athletes,” he told the International Olympic Committee (IOC), as the USA is set to host the next Summer Games.
Donald Trump assured us that his government will “deny all visa applications made by men who fraudulently attempt to enter the United States while identifying themselves as female athletes”.
