A man died after a robbery attack

Armed robbers opened fire, killing one person at a gas station in Dormabin, in the municipality of Krachi East, in Ghana’s Oti region.

“The victim had visited the filling station to purchase fuel, when the robbers, armed with guns, stormed the premises and shot him,” reports said.

The robbers made away with GH¢9,000, after they had begun shooting sporadically, hitting the victim in the process.

A resident said,” the victim was rushed to CHPS compound for treatment due to the severity of the injuries.”

“The victim succumbed to the injuries and was pronounced dead at Asukawkaw in the vehicle, while in transit to WoraWora Government Hospital,” he added.

The Dambai Police command has beefed up security and launched an investigation into the matter.
