A brief overview of Zidane’s soccer career

Zinedine Zidane, a key figure in the French national team between 1994 and 2006, scored 126 goals in his career, including 31 for his country and 49 for Real Madrid.

A gifted midfielder, Zidane often scored decisive goals, including two in the 1998 World Cup final, helping France to their first world title.

He then helped Les Bleus to victory at Euro 2000, helping France to their second European title.

After retiring from international football following Euro 2004, Zidane made a spectacular comeback in 2005, leading France to the 2006 World Cup final. Unfortunately, he was sent off in extra time.

Trained at AS Cannes, Zidane went on to play for Bordeaux, before joining Juventus and finally Real Madrid, with whom he won the Champions League.
