An attack took place in a hospital in the Chinese province of Yunnan (southwest) and left at least two dead and 21 injured, local police said.
Tuesday, at 11:37 a.m. (03:37 GMT), a stabbing attack occurred at Chengnan Hospital in Zhenxiong County, in Yunnan province, and left two dead and 21 injured, local police wrote in a statement published on the social network WeChat.
“A male suspect is under investigation,” police said.
Mass crimes are rare in China, a country that prohibits its citizens from owning firearms, but a wave of stabbing attacks has been seen in recent years.
