A farmer shot his wife dead after a quarrel between the two in Adaklu Tevikpo in Ghana’s Volta region, according to reports.
“The deceased body was discovered in a pool of blood by her son who went to help her work on the farm after classes”, Adom News said.
“The deceased had quarrels with her husband a few days before the incident”, reports stated.
The body has since been moved to the Ho Teaching hospital for preservation.
The Volta Regional Police Command has also commenced an investigation into the matter.
The suspect following the heinous crime has fled the town.
