A 38-year-old owner of Our Guest Hotel has been arrested for torturing a youth to death in Obowo Local Government Area of Nigeria State.
“The victim was accused of stealing a customer’s handset in the guest hotel,” according to reports.
“He was tortured and locked up inside the generator room of the guest house by the suspect and two others where he suffocated to death,” reports said.
The suspect had been arrested and transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department, according to the command’s spokesperson, Henry Okoye.
He has provided useful information that will assist the determined operatives in arresting all the suspects in connection with the case.
