Several dead after bus accident on motorway near Leipzig

This Wednesday, March 27, a major traffic accident which notably involved a bus occurred on the A9 motorway near Leipzig, in Germany.

The vehicle, which was traveling to Munich, was involved in an accident between the municipalities of Wiedemar and SchkeuditzerKreuz, local police said.

According to the same source, several people have died and many emergency services are still on site. The police were not able to give the exact number of victims who died and there were many injured.

Traffic was closed in both directions, and the circumstances of the accident are not yet known.
