Son kills his father with a pestle in Plateau

A 29-year-old man has been arrested for killing his father with a pestle in the Anglo-Jos community, Jos South Local Government Area, Nigeria.

“The suspect had picked a pestle and hit his father during a disagreement,” according to reports.

“The father became unconscious and was rushed to the Plateau State Specialist Hospital for medical attention,” reports added.

Unfortunately, he died while receiving treatment.

The suspect has been arrested while the corpse was deposited at the same hospital mortuary

The case was still under investigation and the suspect would be charged in court upon conclusion of the investigation,” according to the state Commissioner of Police, Hassan Yabanet.
