At least 27,585 people have been killed and 66,978 wounded in Israeli attacks on Gaza since October 7, 2023.
The Israeli army once again bombed Khan Younès in the south of the territory on Sunday as the war enters its fifth month on Wednesday February 7.
“The Palestinian Islamist movement are hiding in Khan Younès,” according to reports.
“The war in the Gaza Strip had left 27,365 people dead and 66,630 wounded, most of them children and women,” according to the Palestinian authorities.
In the wake of this, a proposal for a humanitarian pause in Gaza and an exchange of Palestinian hostages and prisoners are said to be on the table.
Benyamin Netanyahu assured on Sunday that Israel was not prepared to accept any agreement to free the Israeli hostages.
