Man kills father on New Year’s Day

A 22-year-old has allegedly killed his 56-year-old father at Fomena in the Adansi North district of the Ashanti Region, Ghana.

The suspect perpetrated the act during a confrontation on New Year’s Day.

“They argued in public and, once the situation calmed down, the suspect chased his father on his way home and hit him with a club, resulting in his death,” said Adom News.

The police were quickly notified of the scene, acording to the family head.

The suspect was subsequently arrested and the body was deposited at Peaceland morgue at Adeamra near Adansi Asokwa.
