Soldier stabs nightclub bouncer to death

A soldier has reportedly stabbed a bouncer to death at a nightclub in the Bonny Island area of Rivers State, Nigeria.

“The bouncer proceeded to conduct a routine search on the soldier at the entrance of the club as he was on study,” according to reports.

“Upoon searching, the bouncer found a dagger on the soldier and prevented him from entering the club, leading to an argument before the latter reached for his dagger,” reports stated.

“I need justice for my husband. I have four children. Who will train them? I’m not working for now. I need justice,” the deceased wife said.

The spokesperson for the state police command, Grace Iringe-Koko, confirmed the incident, saying an investigation had commenced to ascertain what really happened and to identify the suspect.
