A man was found stabbed to death after his friend had spent the night with him in his apartment in the Baruwa, Ipaja area of Lagos State, Nigeria.
“A friend visited the deceased and spent the night with him before the incident,” according to reports.
“I thought they were friends and I know he came to sleep at his place for that day. When I saw him at first, I did not want to judge him by his looks so I did not say anything,” the neighbour of the deceased said.
“I wanted to check up on my neighbour just for me to see that he had been stabbed brutally by someone he allowed to stay in his house,” the neighbour added.
The neighbour reported the incident and the Divisional Police Officer of the area and his men have visited the scene.
The Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, Benjamin Hundeyin, confirmed the incident.
The corpse had been evacuated to the Mainland General Hospital Mortuary in Yaba and investigation going on.
