A truck driver found dead in truck

A truck driver collapsed and died in the cab of his truck at Dangote Agro Sack Area, Dangote Cement Plant, Ibese, Ogun State, Nigeria.

“The driver had earlier complained of illness to one of his colleagues and demanded that he take some rest,” according to reports.

Seeing how weak he was, the driver was advised to go and take some rest inside his truck, which was parked at the agro sack of the factory in Ibese.

The collegues went later to check up on him, where he was found unconscious inside the cabin of his truck.

“He was rushed to one Jaji Clinic, where he was subsequently pronounced dead by the medical staff,” reports said.

“There was no suspicion of foul play after examining the body,” according to the spokesperson for the Ogun State Police Command, Omolola Odutola.

“The body has been deposited at the state hospital morgue for postmortem examination,” she said.
