The finalists for the “Player of the Year” title

With the verdict expected on Monday December 11, 2023 in Marrakech, the Confederation of African Football announced the shortlist of nominees for the final of the CAF Awards 2023.

Player of the Year category, Morocco’s Achraf Hakimi will be in the running alongside Nigeria’s Victor Osimhen and Egypt’s Mohamed Salah.

In the women’s category, Nigerian title-holder Asisat Oshoala will face South Africa’s Thembi Kgatlana and Zambia’s Barbara Banda.
