A hunter killed a man for a dog

A man was killed by a hunter for stealing his puppy in Gengeri, Mile 12, Lagos State, Nigeria, according to reports.

“The deceased stole the puppy which he was asked to return but he refused and challenged the hunter to a fight,” reports said.

“During the fight, he was hit with a machete on his head and sustained a deep cut”, according to an eyewitness.

He was immediately rushed to the Lagos State Emergency Hospital where he was confirmed dead and has been buried according to Islamic rites.

“The incident has been reported and the investigation is ongoing,” the Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, Benjamin Hundeyin said.
