Two persons were injured after a robbery incident on the Yeji Atebubu highway in the Pru East District of the Bono East Region, Ghana.
“The victims were traveling on motorcycles when they noticed another motorcycle following them,” according to Adom News.
“The suspect were robbers who shot one of the victims in the lower jaw,” a victim confirmed.
“They managed to flee the scene and sought immediate medical assistance at the Parambo Number One communit,” the victim added.
The victim who was shot was transferred to Mathias Hospital in Yeji for advanced care.
Meanwhile, the police has launched a manhunt for the suspects.
